KICIA LAFFON (1912-2008) Important set of photographs depicting several major musical figures of the XXᵉ century, attributed to photographer Kicia Laffon. The lot consists of portraits and work scenes of:- Henri Sauguet - Arthur Honegger - Darius Milhaud - Georges Auric - Francis Poulenc For a total set of approximately 172 prints, illustrating in a sensitive and documentary way the composers of the Group of Six and their contemporaries.Prints from different periods, in variable formats. One of the prints is signed "Kicia" on the lower right, while others bear the photographer's stamp on the reverse. Some of the photographs are in portfolios, the rest in loose sheets.Some images are present in multiple copies. Variable state of use and conservation, with possible traces of handling, slight sun exposure, marks of age and minor alterations. Documentary set, offering a rare testimony to the French musical milieu of the XXᵉ century, of real interest to collectors of photography and musical history.
