HORACE. Quinti Horatii Flacci Opera. A Paris, 1733, in-16 bound in full olive morocco, smooth ornate spine, boards decorated with gilt geometric fillets, stippled fillet on the fields, interior roulette, pink silk endpapers, gilt edges. Late 18th century binding. Frontispiece portrait, title page with framing and typographical ornament, wood-engraved culs-de-lampe. Edition typographed in "sedanaise" (characters engraved by Grandjean and Alexandre), remarkable "for the exiguity and neatness of the characters used for its execution" (Brunet III, 320). A fine copy.
