Important Persian Bidjar Late 19th century Dimensions 423 x 274 cm Wool velvet on wool foundation Oxidation and natural wear Restorations Beautiful graphic design Brick-red abrache field' (natural wool change) decorated with a mosaic of geometrically stylized flower bulbs and palmettes in polychrome, in the form of stylized tiles, and surrounded by crenellated sky-blue stems surrounded by stylized foliage. Four spandrels shaped by a sky-blue background with finely drawn crenellated stems and branches. Seven borders, the main one in midnight blue, decorated with rows of bulbs in the shape of geometric turtle shells surrounded by multicolored flower buds.
